Lazy day run ...
My husband was attending the conference  all day so today was my day.  The little ski village that we were staying (near Lillehammar) was quiet and so I did not feel the need to be busy.  The weather in Norway has been unseasonably warm so when I headed out on my run this morning, I just wore my running capri’s and a long sleeved T.  The sun was shining brightly, the snow was melting quickly...

Running and coffee - managing jet-lag effectively
I have managed to keep running in the midst of jet lag. What I have learned is that running helps with the “fogginess” that comes with being over tired. The fresh air and increased oxygen intake feels so good, that and a good cup of coffee of course!

Traveling runner...
I am traveling with my husband to his conference in Norway, so excited! Our first stop is Prague ( well not really our first stop because we are on the milk run). I have heard Prague described as the “new Paris”, well Paris is my favorite city so I will have to make my own judgement. I love to run in new places, breaking ground, discovering sites I would not see otherwise. Running...

Finding balance ...
I have a somewhat complicated relationship with running… and I am I pretty sure it is not the running that is complicated, it’s me.  I can confuse the pureness of running with all sorts of numbers that can (if I let it) dictate whether or not I find satisfaction in a run. Was I fast enough? Did I run long enough? Far enough? Am I good enough? Crazy thoughts for an everyday runner...
